Whats Mickey Rourke like?
He is who he is. You like him or you don’t. I think that might have been one of the reasons why we became friends because we both are who we are and we’re not afraid to say what we want or do what we want. Usually, you get a lot of crap for doing that. I think it scares people. Q: You and Rourke have some very intense scenes together. Did you find it a little unsettling? A: I’m more apt to do something when I’m afraid of it. I’m petrified of water. I’m petrified of the ocean. But you know, I still threw myself in there one night and went swimming just to conquer it. I don’t ever want to be afraid because I know that I’ll regret it. Q: How was your relationship with Mickey off-camera? A: We didn’t meet until we were filming. When they said ‘action’ in our first scene, that’s when we met. We never spoke off-camera. I’d never worked like that. But it brought everything to a whole other level.
