Whats more important on a Christmas tree, lights or tinsel?

After putting tinsel on a tree I end up finding it scattered all over the house until about may of the next year. Lights are much prettier to me.

I believe the lights are more important. It makes the tree alive.

In my opinion lights are much more important. They illuminate the tree making it much prettier at night.

Lights. One year, I decorated the tree with just lights and the angel, no tinsel or ornaments, and it was gorgeous when the lights were turned off.
