Whats New With “The Norton Anthology of English Literature”?

0

The Norton Anthology of English Literature is now available in its 8th edition–with a new general editor. This indispensable anthology first appeared in 1962, and it has become a standard in English literature survey courses. M. H. Abrams has held the post of General Editor for more than 40 years, so it should be interesting to see how the new edition fares with the critics as the eminent Shakespeare scholar Stephen Greenblatt takes over. Read more about the new developments from Norton, with an article from The New York Times. Also, see view (and listen to) the presentation from Stephen Greenblatt, General Editor.
