Whats the best course, tutorial and book to learn css?
Take a look at my book on the topic. I begin with XHTML, because (unlike HTML) XHTML strict really requires you to use CSS entirely for formatting. I then walk through basic CSS tasks, including how to add color and text styles, how to add backgrounds and borders, how to use background images and custom bullet images, and haw the various selection tools work. I then devote another mini-book to CSS layout techniques, including how to use the powerful (but sometimes mystifying) float mechanism to create multi-column pages and nicely formatted forms. I also take you through multi-level menu systems using only CSS. I show how absolute positioning can be used to generate other types of interesting and attractive designs. The book is meant to go much farther, though.
