Whats the best martial arts style to learn?
First off, there is no “best martial arts style.” If there was, then there would be only one martial arts style because who would want to study the second or third best? If there are gangs roaming around assaulting people, then that’s a job for the police to handle. Not you. Ask any experienced martial artist and they will tell you that you look for an instructor, not an art or style. If you want to learn a martial art for self defense, then you need to do your own work in finding which one is right for you. You do this by checking out the schools in your area and deciding which one is the best fit for your schedule, budget, and learning style. Once you’ve selected the right instructor, you’ll be in the best style. People who say you should study “XYZ” or don’t study “ABC” really do not know what they are talking about.
