Whats the best time of year to visit Boston and New York for vacation?
Don’t bother with the rental car, parking is expensive and a hassle in both NY and Boston, and in both cities you can get anywhere via the subways. I would reccomend the early spring, both central park in NY and the Boston Commons are beautiful that time of year. Right behind the Boston Commons is the Boston Public garden, which is gorgeous in the springtime, and for just two dollars you can go on the swan boats, which is a nice activity with kids if you have them. Boston is vey pretty in the spring. It’s my personal opinion that NYC is never pretty, but the weather is nicer here in the springtime than the summer, the heat makes everything smell terrible… I’m a native massachusetts girl going to school in NY. And back to the transportation, there are countless ways to get from NY to Boston.
