That’s not an option sometimes. My fiancee is planning our wedding now and every time I try to help somehow, she just rejects all my ideas and does everything as she wants to. But I am totally OK with that. I don’t really care much about the wedding itself and she does so I let her do whatever she wants.

The best way to deal with someone who doesn’t take any for an answer is to not deal with them at all. Shut them down. Cut off all communication.
