What's the best way to get old kool-aid stains out of the carpet?

I often use a product called awesome, on old stains like that takes off paint stains on carpet too. you can buy it at grocery stores or discount stores. Try club soda. Since the stains are old I can't guarantee it will work but it's worth a try. You can buy a bottle at the grocery for less than a dollar. Pour it on striaght, let it sit a few minutes and blot with a clean towel. My friend's mom got red Kool Aid out of her oriental rug and I got green popsicle stains out of my car upholstery this way.  more
