Whats the Difference between a Burial Vault and a Grave Liner?

0

A grave liner is an outer container designed to support only the weight of the earth, not heavy cemetery maintenance equipment. Technically, it is not a burial vault. A burial vault must be lined and sealed. A grave liner is neither. However, a grave liner does have four sides, a top, and a bottom. Many grave liners are manufactured with two holes in the bottom. That enables the box to drain with the rise and fall of the water table. –Ed.
