Whats the difference between an H-Harness, a Roman Harness and a Step In Harness?

This post is very useful for new owners of dogs. We also made a mistake and we took a collar for our puppy. he was very active and running from us when we walked. The collar was too tight for him and very bad signs remained on his skin when we came from our first walk. Soon we found out harness for dogs and immediately bought one. That is completely different and much more safe for the health of the puppy. Dog harnesses are also very useful for teaching your dog not to pull as the pressure from a harness is more evenly distributed around your dog’s body.

The H-style is a really good cat harness that also can be used on small dogs. We especially recommend it for cats because it is harder to escape from. As long as the collar portion is snug enough not to pull over the cat’s head, it is very unlikely the cat will get out of an H-harness. A harness should never be left on an unattended cat. If you are considering a harness for a dog, and your main objective is to relieve pressure on the trachea, neck and spine, use either the Roman style or the Step In. These types of harness relieve pressure from a dog’s throat, and put it on the shoulders and chest. All harnesses should be removed when the outing is over as they are too accessible for chewing for dogs and may present an additional risk of entanglement or injury for cats. We do not recommend any of our products be used for tie-out.
