Whats the difference between Aviara and La Costa resorts?
eWith respect to Roberta, her answer isn’t exactly right about Aviara. You actually can be a “vacation owner” and have ownership to visit there 1 or 2 weeks a year. You can also rent out the reisdential portion of the resort, by days or weeks. They are more like your typical time share, in that they are like a condo, with kitchens, living rooms, etc. Both resorts are absolutely gorgeous, especially since La Costa recently invested something like 160 million in renovations! You can’t go wrong in either resort- both have fantastic restaurants, pools, etc. One caution with LaCosta however- if you don’t like crowds, make sure they don’t have one of the big golf tournaments there when you want to go!
