Roadshow: At a Roadshow, you will receive a confidential evaluation from BIG and our panel of experts. (Manchester Roadshows are typically only attended by BIG staff.) You can present your idea or ideas, demonstrate a prototype, answer questions, and get feedback from us. Phone: By phone, you will be able to present information to BIG, ask questions or respond to questions, and hear our advice. Mail: Since we receive a great many submissions by mail, our response to those inventions is brief and general. • What criteria will be used to evaluate my idea? • Appeal • Uniqueness/originality • Market potential and brand life • Competitive environment • Meets safety standards • No significant marketing, manufacturing, or intellectual property issues • What is BIG's review process? • We review your idea--either in person, via phone, or by mail. • After the initial review, we usually take 4-6 weeks to evaluate your concept. We use this time to put your invention in context with other ideas ...
