Both burglary and robbery are second degree felonies: •· Burglary: entering an area without permission with the intent to commit a criminal act within the same area, usually a home, business or car. •· Robbery: taking or attempting to take the property of another person using force or threats. Robbery with weapon is considered a first degree felony, as is home invasion robbery.
