Although DVD+RW technology does allow for re-writing, DVD+R discs are usually less expensive. Both formats offer exceptional compatibility with DVD home players and DVD drives in PCs.  more

Both DVD+/-R and DVD+/-RW disks can be used to "write" information on using the DVD burner in your PC.  However, with the DVD+/-R type, you can only burn information on the disk once.  With DVD+/-RW disks, you can re-record over the previous information.
