Whats the difference between Expio and systems using Ultraviolet (UV) disinfection?
UV systems disinfect water by exposing it to UV radiation. UV systems are effective in treating municipal water that has already been disinfected and treated to remove most contaminants. UV systems are not designed to treat surface and raw water sources like lakes, streams and rivers.
