Whats the difference between extended wear and daily wear contact lenses?
Different providers sometimes use these various contact lens terms to mean different things. Then when a patient sees someone else and they start using that same term to mean something else, it creates a lot of confusion. This is a list of several terms that patients bring up and how I define them. Remember: each provider may use these terms differently, so if you are confused, do not be afraid to ask.
