Concentrate is cooked down, so water must be added to it to make it the correct strength. It can still be real fruit juice. I’m not sure if it is as healthy as non-concentrate or not. Cooking does destroy some nutrients, but since store bought juice is pasteurized, I don’t know if there is a difference between that and concentrate. Also, much of the ready to drink juice is made from concentrate. There is a third category: fruit cocktail. It contains fruit juice as well as sugar or corn syrup … definitely not as healthy as real fruit juice.
