Whats the difference between Golden lab and Labrador retriever?
You’ve actually got two questions here. First, as to the difference between a Golden Lab and a Labrador Retriever. There is no “Golden Lab” — this is a name that some people use for a Yellow Lab (Labs come in three basic colors — yellow, black and chocolate). If someone is trying to sell you a “Golden Lab” run like crazy in the opposite direction. They either don’t know what the true name of the dog is or they are trying to sell you a Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever cross. Labs and Goldens are two very different breeds.
