One is the fear of islam as an ideology, the other is the hatred towards jews. Example: Islamophobia: Islam is an evil cult. (I believe it is) Antisemitism: Israel should be wiped of the face of the earth.

there is a fundamental difference between being opposed to a repressive ideology and racism (i.e. discrimination against someone on the basis of their ethnicity), i’m a complete islamophobe, but have Muslim friends.

Islamophobia is the hatred of Islam, or the fear of Islam. Antisemitism is the hatred and opposition of Judaism.

Islamophobia is directed against Muslims, Antisemitism against Jews. They are both based on racism. Disagreeing with the teachings of Islam is not the same as Islamophobia.
