What’s the difference between Li-ion, Ni-Mh and Ni – Cd?
Li-ion (Lithium Jon) is one of the newer battery types. Li-ion batteries are one of the lighter batteries and give better capacity in terms to its weight than other similar battery types. This battery (Li-ion) has no known difficulties with memory effect and does not need be fully charged. Normally a Li-ion battery is able to manage approximately 500 and have 2-3 years The batteries can be charged. Ni – Mh (Nickel Metal Hydride) is the most common battery type. This type of battery has a very small memory effect which means they need to be more maintained than li-ion batteries.
