Whats the difference between “Personal Effects”, “High Risk items” and “Contents”?

Personal Effects are possessions which you bring from home such as clothes and toiletries. These are generally covered by your house contents insurance policy providing you have cover for items away from home and there is no need for you to pay to have them insured twice. If Personal Effects are not covered on your home insurance, they can be covered (up to £250 per item) on our insurance policy whilst at your holiday park. If your holiday home is your Main Residence and you do not have separate home insurance, you may wish to opt for our Main Residency Cover. With this cover, the limit for any one item of personal effects is increased to £1,500 and your personal effects are covered anywhere in England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man.
