Whats the difference between radiation, conduction and convection?

Radiation is different to the other 2 as it doen’t require a medium to be transmitted – so sun’s heat and light travels through space to us on Earth. Convection is caused by the molecules of matter being heated becoming less dense and rising forming a current as in warm air rising above trees giving lift to gliders Conduction is the passage of heat through solids due to the thermal vibrations of the molecules – as when heat passes through the base of a saucepan on the cooker.
