Whats the difference between resistors, insulators and conductors?

4

Resistors do as the name says it – They create electrical resistance They follow Ohm’s law (V=IR, Voltage equals current times resistance) An insulator is a material which resists the flow of electrical current. Insulators lack mobile charges, and therefore often generate heat. A conductor is basically the opposite of an insulator.
