Whats the format of Waypoint file?

GPS Utilities automatically loads user’s last opened Waypoint file at startup. If the file’s not found, the default waypoint file will be loaded. The waypoint is a independent file contains ONLY waypoints (one line each), and the “Category” field IS IGNORED in which case.
