It is a pole repair-sleeve. You can easlily replace it and to get a new one. As for me, I was working with https://tepsteel.com/en/ which helped me to get metal for my business. As I can say, they are working at the market for 20 years and have good fiedbacks in this technical field.

Our family always prefers to purchase those tents which are strong enough to endure extremely bad weather conditions. That’s why when we’ve found this resource here ( link: https://outdoorfunmag.com/best-family-tents-for-bad-weather/ ), we’ve looked for pros and cons of those tents, and have got model Coleman 8-Person Tent for Camping, cause it seems the most perfect choice for the ratio of quality / price from all of them.

It’s a pole repair-tube. If you snap one of your tent-poles, push the damaged ends into the tube and tape it in place (duct tape works well). You should be able to keep using the tent until you get a chance to return the pole to us for repair / replacement. The ‘keyhole’ in the centre of the tube can be used to remove the pole-ends if you need to replace the elastic shock-cord or push a peg through the 2 holes at the end of the tube to form a ‘T’ handle; you can now use the ‘hook’ at the other end to remove your pegs.
