There isn’t one. It’s a total fiction and so can never be disproven. Supposedly the “missing link” is a “Half human, have savage ape that creeps out of the night….” sorry keep channeling bad movies. Basically it’s the link between humans and apes. In creationist thinking, a band of apes starts birthing missing links and they in turn start birthing humans. That there are 20 known species in the human lineage only gives creationist the ability to demand a ‘missing link” between each. The press doesn’t help with this. Each new hominid discovery get’s labeled a “missing link.” What exactly would be the difference between the first human and their parents? It wouldn’t be anything obvious and likely only found at the DNA level. The first human could have ell mated with anyone in their tribe. While we “split” from the chimpanzee line 6-8 million years ago, for perhaps a million years the two species could have interbred.
