Whats the most random thing youve talked about in a Science lesson?

We somehow ended up discussing whether ‘chicken’ could be used as an adjective. Yes, in a science lesson. Also, we were looking at different people’s views on using stem cells in research and they had a slideshow of celebrities and famous people including the pope. Then a picture of George W. Bush came up, the question was meant to be “What does he think” but the class came to a pretty unanimous decision that he didn’t. Also, in the same lesson we were looking at the recessive gene for attached earlobes and it turned out I was the only one in the class with them. At that moment everyone turned and suddenly started calling me an alien and freak, then there was a discussion on whether attached earlobes caused smartness.

Erectile dysfunction. The most random thing we ever talked about at school was during an English lesson. Bear in mind I went to a very selective, posh, private school, all girls where we were expected to behave like ladies. We asked our English teacher, Miss Jacobs, if the past participle of “sh1t” was “sh@t” or “sh1tted”. We spent a whole lesson discussing it, she split us into two groups and gave us one of the choices which we had to argue for or against. In the end “sh@t” won, and she agreed. It was still the best ever lesson I had at school.
