Whats the on-campus recruiting process like?
We start with an on-campus presentation. We describe what marketing careers at Taco Bell are like, how we operate, and what opportunities are available within each functional area. We bring three to five people from our offices to the presentation. They answer questions and encourage the students to apply for internship opportunities. Q: And the interview process? A: When we interview people, we’re looking at it from the perspective of whether the candidate is someone with whom we want to spend 10 hours a day. You need to have a good personality and a good sense of humor to work here. The interview process is much less formal for interns than for full-time hires. Q: What kinds of attributes are you looking for in an applicant? A: From an overarching standpoint, we look for good cultural fit. Taco Bell is a work-hard, play-hard kind of environment.
