Whats the US class system in school?

It varies from school to school, but in high school, you might have a remedial level class for students who do not plan on going to college or who are particularly weak in that subject, a regular level, and an honors level. Sometimes there’s the AP or International Baccalaureate thrown into the mix, though it can replace honors or be above it. Sometimes (probably often), there is no remedial level. Again, this varies EXTREMELY widely from school to school, so what I’m saying might not be correct for your school. In addition, tracking (that’s the term that refers to having so many different levels) is highly controversial and some schools may have gotten rid of it altogether except for general and then AP (since these classes are considered necessary to get into the most competitive colleges).
