There are two seasons. During the November to April season, the weather is consistently sunny and dry with calm seas and the NE winds 10-15 knots are ideal for sailing. In the May to October season, the SW winds pick up, though sailing is still sheltered in most of the cruising area. During this period Tioman is calm and sunny. The area is tidal with a range of approximately 2m.  more
