Whats with all the numbers and icons on the map?
A. The forecast values displayed on the map are plotted for every 5sq kilometers in the Continental United States. This means that each number or icon that you see is what is forecasted for that 5sq kilometer section of land. The closer you are zoomed into the map, the more detailed the data becomes. The further you zoom out, the less detailed the data becomes because it is averaged to represent larger areas of land. Because of this, you should zoom in as close as possible to see the actual value.
