SECURITRE uses standard SAG-supplied User-exits and other standard techniques to accomplish its interfaces to ADABAS, NATURAL, and PREDICT. It is in SAG’s best interest to avoid changing how these User-exits operate, since even minor changes can potentially affect thousands of users and products (including SAG’s own products). Furthermore, SAG has not changed the format of various items from which SECURITRE gains its security information, such as the Control Block, Command Codes, File Numbers, Format Buffer field list, etc. It is unlikely that SAG will change these because of the problems this would create for all SAG users. The SECURITRE interface with TOP SECRET is performed through the standard RACROUTE macro. If this macro should ever change, SECURITRE should be able to adjust to the change very quickly and easily.Because we use no “special” interfaces to the SAG products or the security system, you will normally not experience any outages due to product incompatibility.
