When and how do holly shrubs produce their fruit usually?
You have to have a male and female plant in order to get berries. The male plant has to pollinate the female which has tiny little white flowers that have no distinction anywhere from 1/8″ to 1/4″, but without the male plant the flowers fall off and you will not get berries from your Ilex plant-latin name for holly.
