When are executives eligible to receive acting pay?
• Executives are eligible to receive acting pay once three conditions are met: • The executive’s substantive level must be EX-01, EX-02, EX-03, DS-7A, or DS-7B. • The executive substantially performs the duties of a position that has a higher maximum salary. • The executive has acted in the higher position for at least three consecutive months.
