WHEN ARE WARNER BROS. CARTOONS GOING TO BE RELEASED ON DVD?

I’m literally not allowed to tell you. Because I work freelance for Warner Bros. I am restricted in discussing my role and the projects I’m involved with. But I can say there are some plans for a DVD release in 2002. I will report news on this when I can. WHY AREN’T THE POPEYE CARTOONS RELEASED ON VIDEO? Warner Bros. (they own the films) and King Features (they own the character) are finally talking and may make a deal someday. In the meantime, I highly reccommend you watch (and tape) the new “Classic Popeye” Show on Cartoon Network, starting Oct. 28, 2001, entitled “I’M POPEYE” which will air Sunday night/Monday morning at 1:00am after COWBOY BEBOP (ADULT SWIM). WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE CLASSIC CARTOONS? I never really gave it much thought but just for the fun of it, off the top of my head, here are eight absolutes I never get tired of (in no particular order, click on each of the first 5 for more information): &#149COAL BLACK AND DE SEBBEN DWARFS &#149SUPERMAN (the first one) &#149SINK
