When did the Anzac force land in Gallipoli?

0

The Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) soldiers landed on the shores of Gallipoli (in Turkey) on the 25th April 1915 during World War One. They landed at nightfall in complete darkness and ended up landing in the wrong place, over a mile north of the intended beach. When they did land they were faced with high cliffs and rugged terrain. The Turks began firing as soon as the troops came ashore.
