Most of the Post-9/11 GI Bill (Chapter 33)changes go effect on August 1, 2011, however some also go into effect on October 1, 2011. Read the full article outlining the changes. Be sure to contact the VA at 1-888-GIBILL-1 to learn about your personal benefits situation.
