In general, the absorbance should be within the linear measuring range of the spectrophotometer (measuring range of Biophotometer: A = 0–3.0). For samples with a normal or a low concentration, the 10-mm light path is more suitable. For high-concentration samples (with A > 2.5), we recommend using the 2-mm light path. (An absorbance > 2.5 correlates to > 125 µg/ml dsDNA and > 100 µg/ml RNA respectively.
