When does the 2010 Congress of Cities & Exposition open?
The conference officially opens Wednesday, December 1 with the Welcome Reception and Exposition Hall Opening at 6:30 p.m. The main conference featuring workshops and generals sessions then takes place from Thursday, December 2 thru Saturday, December 4. The last educational event ends at 2:15 p.m. on Saturday with the Delegate’s Luncheon. The Annual Business meeting begins at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Closing Event will be held Saturday evening from 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. Times are approximate pending finalization of the schedule in winter 2010. Keep watching the website for updates, www.nlccongressofcities.org. However, pre-conference activities are also scheduled for the 2010 Congress of Cities. On Tuesday, November 30 & Wednesday, December 1, conferees that arrive early can pay an additional fee and take part in one of the Leadership Training Institutes Seminars.
