When fish have babies do they die???
No, my fish have babies all the time and they are still alive. Now usually when they have babies most of the babies get eaten unless you have them in a separate container. It sounds like your fish might have had Ick which just means that the water was dirty and too much bacteria and the mold is probably just from the Ick and decomposition and usually the other fish do eat them. You can usually tell if they have ick because they usually swim crooked. I would just make sure you keep the water and tank clean and by some solution from the pet store to steralize the water.
