When I drag and drop a raster into a new folder, the raster stays in the original location. Why?

Actually, this is simply a refresh problem. It just has not refreshed the original folder yet. By manually refreshing the original folder, you will see that the raster is actually not there anymore. Why does the Effects toolbar not refresh itself after I delete the layer that I was just adjusting the transparency of? The same behavior occurs with the brightness and contrast controls when working with two different raster layers. This is a known issue at version 8.0.2. After adjusting the “effects” of a layer, and then deleting that layer, the drop down list of layers in the Effects toolbar indicates that it has selected and is working on the next layer in the TOC, but actually the refresh has not totally been performed. Specifically choosing the appropriate layer before using the Effects toolbar will eliminate this problem.
