When I send a job to a CAEN lab printer and swipe my Mcard, there is no Release button, so my job will not print. Why does this happen?

This can occur if the printer has gone into an error state due to a bad job that was previously sent to the printer. You can verify this by looking at the list of jobs for one that is stuck in a state of Processing. Turning the printer off and then back on again will usually clear this error and allow you to release your job.
