The balance has not reached the operating temperature and is therefore unstable. It can take up to 15 minutes until a PR is warmed up and finds the zero point. Why does my AG/PG balance always ask for a calibration? The VariCal feature will ask for the balance to be calibrated once every twenty-four hours or if the weighing system has a 2 degree temperature change. VariCal can be turned off in the menu. Just turn INFO OFF in the menu. My balance shows flashing zeros (0). What can be done? Check to see if something is hitting the weighing pan.
