Q:

When I try to install Quilt Pro for Windows I get an error message indicating a problem with CTL3D.DLL. What is wrong?

A The CTL3D.DLL file is a very common file used by many different types of programs, most commonly virus checkers and screen savers. The first thing to do is close all programs and try the installation again. If it still doesn't work then search your hard disk for all instances of the file as there may be many. Either rename or remove the extra files from the hard disk. Keep a copy of these files as other programs may need the older versions to work properly. Restart your computer and try the installation again.  more
