This is due to bugs in the version of SDL (1.1.7) shipped with Tux Racer 0.61. You can download a newer version of SDL (1.1.8) in which these problems are fixed: • Download SDL 1.1.8 Simply replace the SDL.dll file included with Tux Racer with the one in SDL-1.1.8-win32.zip. Note that Tux Racer 0.61a for Windows already includes SDL 1.1.8.
