When installing Rapid Inspector, I get a message that says the application needs “unrestricted access” to my local machine and network. What does this mean?
“Unrestricted access” means that Rapid Inspector will need to use certain resources present on your computer. When you select a graphic file for testing, Rapid Inspector will open this file in read-only mode and close the file when the test has completed (it does not make any changes to the files). Rapid Inspector also writes the results of its tests into an HTML file so you can save the file and, if desired, print it from your Web browser.
