Even when they scab over they have a chance of being contagious it real stops when the rash site is completely clear. Depending on the severity of when you get chicken pox you can get it again. Not only that chicken pox virus is stored in your body for the rest of your life and can reappear as Herpes zoster aka Shingles which sucks a whole lot more and i kno cause I've had it. But the good news is shingles on occurs on rare occasions when your elderly and have a weakened immune system or it can occur when your younger when you body goes through extreme stress which was my case cause i had a bad sunburn plus sleep deprivation and a minor case of heat stroke all in one fun package.  more
