When is the best time to contact the building inspector?
The town building inspector is a part-time town official. Most of his day is devoted to inspecting building construction. The best time to reach him is generally in the early morning (8:00-9:00 a.m) on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Office appointments should be made beforehand whenever possible by calling 255-9675. Please remember that the building inspector is not available afternoons or weekends. However, the Building Department secretary is available from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily to accept building permit applications and schedule appointments and inspections.
