Ok, like this is an easy one: it depends upon what you want to see and do: if you want to ski, the best months are January and February. If you want to have a fun time at the beach or sailing or around water, the best time is July and August. If you want to hike and do other active things, September is definitely your best bet, since you can beat the summer heat that way. If you are willing to brave cool nights, the best time to visit the northern parts of the Great White North is May - before the hordes of giant, hungry black flies and mosquitoes come out and make life miserable for man and beast. Finally, if you want to see REALLY nice gardens full of flowers, go to Victoria, B.C. in April.
