When is the next asteroid /meteor due to hit/pass earth?

0

Thousands of meteors hit the Earth every day; almost all are small and burn up in the atmosphere. There are currently no asteroids predicted to be a danger to Earth. There is always a chance that a new asteroid on a collision path will be discovered, but space is so large and the Earth so small that the odds of that happening are pretty slim. There are several major programs for locating and identifying new asteroids which come close to Earth. There are a lot more pressing issues to worry about, such as global warming and the United States’ foreign policy.
